1. Why did you join the CSCE?
I joined the CSCE in 2025 because of its strong focus on strategic communication and its commitment to advancing the profession. As someone who is passionate about using communication to drive meaningful change, I value being part of a global community that shares insights, challenges conventional thinking, and promotes continuous learning. The regular webinars, practical resources, and updates on emerging trends make it easy to stay connected to the conversations shaping our profession, regardless of where you are in the world.
2. What’s one thing you strongly believe about communication?
I believe communication is most powerful when it builds trust. Whether we’re leading change, influencing decisions, or telling stories, people connect with messages that are authentic, human, and grounded in listening.
3. What are you currently focused on professionally?
I support nonprofits and social impact organizations with strategic communications, partnerships, fundraising, and advocacy. Much of my work focuses on gender equality, ending violence against women and girls, civic space, and humanitarian action.
4. What conversation do you think communication professionals need to have more often?
We need to talk more about the role of communication in creating meaningful social change. As AI and technology reshape how we work, it is important to ensure that ethics, inclusion, and human connection remain at the centre of our practice.
5. What’s something outside work that brings you joy, energy or perspective?
Travel, spending time in nature, and meaningful conversations with friends and family help me recharge. I also enjoy reading, learning about different cultures, and discovering new places.
6. What topics, challenges or interests would you love to connect with other members about?
I would love to connect with others around social impact storytelling, communications measurement, leadership communication, AI in communications, fundraising communications, and building influence in complex environments.
Anything else you’d like the community to know about you?
I am passionate about using strategic communication to advance social change and strengthen communities. I enjoy connecting with others working across communication, advocacy, philanthropy, and social impact, and I am always open to sharing ideas and exploring opportunities for collaboration.
