Adrian Cropley
CO-FOUNDER
OAM, FRSA, IABC Fellow, SCMP
A certified Strategic Communication Management Professional, Adrian Cropley is widely recognised as one of the world’s foremost experts and consultants in strategic communication. He is a global award-winning communication professional and a current director on the board of the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Communication Management. With a career spanning over 35 years, Adrian has worked with clients worldwide, including Fortune 500 companies, on major change communication initiatives, internal communication reviews and strategies, professional development programs, executive leadership, and coaching.
Adrian pioneered and ran the Melcrum Internal Communication Black Belt program in the Asia Pacific for over 10 years. He is a sought-after facilitator, speaker, author and thought leader. He presents keynotes and leads strategic and change communication workshops across Canada, the U.S., Europe, the Middle East, Malaysia, Singapore, China, India, Hong Kong, Thailand, New Zealand and Australia.
Adrian, a recognised strategist in responsible AI, brings a values-led, ethical lens to communication in emerging technologies. He has received several prestigious awards, including multiple International Gold Quill Awards and two Rae Hamlin Awards. He is chair of the Industry Advisory Committee for the RMIT School of Media and Communication, and a non-executive board member with several organisations.
A past global chair of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), Adrian was instrumental in implementing the IABC Career Road Map, launching a global ISO certification for the profession, and developing the IABC Academy. In 2017, he was awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM), one of the country’s highest honours, for his contribution to professional communication and youth development.

Sia Papageorgiou

FRSA, FCSCE, SCMP
Armed with an impressive collection of more than 50 awards for strategic communication excellence and leadership, Sia Papageorgiou is dedicated to elevating the value and visibility of communication professionals, empowering them to become trusted, strategic, and in-demand advisors. She is a certified strategic communication management professional (SCMP), a Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, and past president of the Victorian chapter of the IABC. She’s also a former board director at IABC Asia-Pacific and past chair of the Global Communication Certification Council. In 2021, IABC Asia-Pacific named Sia Communicator of the Year and in 2022 she was awarded the prestigious IABC Rae Hamlin Award in recognition of her exemplary service in advocating the Global Standard of the Communication Profession and evangelising the power and possibility of communication. The GovComms Institute, a global platform for government communication professionals, named Sia, “one of the superstars of the communication profession. ” With every initiative she leads, every team she trains, and every professional she coaches, Sia continues to set the gold standard for strategic communication excellence, inspiring others to reach their highest potential.

Helen Taylor
SENIOR COMMUNICATION CONSULTANT
Helen Taylor – an IABC Gold Quill Award winner and evaluator with 20+ years international experience working across various communication disciplines and industries. She’s a strategist who also loves to write. It’s in her blood with a great uncle a poet and a father having a penchant for words. Helen is the person behind all our social media activity.
Helen has worked for several major corporations including Shell Australia, ANZ, Barclays, Cabrini Health and Energis (part of Cable & Wireless) – operating across cultures on complex issues including mergers/acquisitions and the precursor to the current pandemic, the Swine Flu (H1N1). She joined the CSCE from JAW Communication, a boutique communication agency with a focus on the not-for-profit sector including the Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal and Philanthropy Australia.
Above all Helen loves to share knowledge and experience. She's passionate about her profession as evidenced by spending several years on the IABC Victoria Board including being President. She has a BA (Hons) degree in International Business Studies with French and a Post Graduate diploma in Marketing Communications.
Tilottama Pillai
MANAGER, PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
ABC
Tilottama Pillai ABC, is an accredited business communicator with over 12 years’ experience. Prior to joining Cropley Communication she worked as the Head of Communication and Sustainable Business at Unilever in Sri Lanka and has worked with Unilever in three other countries including India, South Africa and Malaysia. She also led Unilever’s Global Communication Capability.
Tilottama has worked on major change projects throughout her career including mergers and acquisitions and factory closures and has extensive experience in strategic internal and external communication including media relations, government relations, stakeholder management and employee engagement.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (Hons) and a Diploma in Public Relations.
