Gabrielle Loring Named CSCE Fellow for Transformative Impact and Global Leadership in Strategic Communication

The Centre for Strategic Communication Excellence (CSCE) proudly recognises Gabrielle Loring as its newest CSCE Fellow, honouring her extraordinary contributions to the communication profession, her global influence, and her unwavering commitment to mentoring the next generation of strategic communication professionals.

A respected leader, strategist, and mentor, Gabrielle has spent decades shaping the profession from the inside out – advancing best practice, driving organisational change, and supporting the growth of communication professionals around the world.

CSCE co-founder Sia Papageorgiou FRSA, FCSCE, SCMP, shared: “Gabrielle Loring represents the very best of our profession. Her strategic brilliance is matched only by her generosity of spirit. She has shaped global best practice, guided transformative change, and mentored countless professionals with humility and heart. Recognising her as a CSCE Fellow is not just about honouring her achievements but about celebrating the impact of a leader who has elevated others, advanced our profession, and inspired a standard of excellence that continues to ripple across the global communication community.”

Throughout her career, Gabrielle has played a pivotal role in shaping the profession’s direction, serving in senior leadership roles at Gallagher (formerly ROC Group), where she led complex, award-winning communication initiatives that drove multi-million-dollar business outcomes for global clients. Her portfolio includes a campaign for a global electric company that delivered over $3.4 million in savings in its first year alone.

Gabrielle’s leadership extends beyond her client work. As a long-standing member of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), she has held numerous influential roles, serving as President and Past President of IABC Chicago, chairing the U.S. Gold Quill Awards Blue Ribbon Panel, and contributing to global governance through the DEI Committee and the Organisational Design Task Force 2.0.

Her body of work has been recognised with over a dozen IABC Gold Quill Awards, alongside accolades from PRSA, the MarCom Awards, and the Profit Sharing Council of America – reflecting a consistent track record of strategic, creative, and measurable communication. Just as significantly, Gabrielle has made an enduring impact as a mentor, guiding professionals through formal programs and informal support, and volunteering for more than 20 years with Big Sisters, where she has mentored five “little sisters” and helped lead major reunion events that strengthen intergenerational connection and personal development.

CSCE co-founder Adrian Cropley OAM, FRSA, IABC Fellow, GCSCE, added: “Gabrielle Loring embodies the true spirit of a business leader in communication — a trusted advisor whose strategic brilliance and authenticity have raised the bar for our profession. I’ve had the privilege of watching Gabrielle lead with purpose, delivering measurable outcomes and influencing at the highest levels with grace and grit. Her body of work — decorated with countless accolades — reflects more than excellence; it reflects a legacy. Gabrielle doesn’t just create award-winning communication; she creates change. In doing so, she’s helped shape the future of communication across our global profession.”

Gabrielle Loring joins a distinguished group of CSCE Fellows whose work has redefined the role and value of communication in organisations and communities worldwide. Her legacy is one of strategic excellence, inclusive leadership, and profound generosity – hallmarks of the standard CSCE seeks to elevate and celebrate through this honour.
