If you don’t know where you come from, you don’t know where you are going.

Imagine if you could create a sort of Sat Nav for your next year, or indeed the rest of your life, to determine your optimum route, guide your path for making the most of your potential and seize the opportunities around you.

In today’s fast-paced world, being a purposeful professional and changemaker comes with its own set of challenges. As we navigate an ever-evolving landscape, it’s crucial to find new ways to break through the noise to make a lasting impact. You need to be equipped with the insights and tools needed to realise your purpose and be more purposeful, to create the change you want to see in your world. Yet, how many of us really know our purpose or can articulate their personal vision or mission?

Introducing a unique and innovative program crafted specifically for the holiday and New Year season—a time when you’re free to reflect without the usual time pressures. This masterful guide offers authoritative insights, an intuitive toolkit, and a proven process to help you delve into your most profound questions: Why do you do what you do? What truly matters to you?

Consisting of a half day workshop with an international expert, coupled with follow up meets with them in two personal one-to-one online coaching sessions, creates a personal emergent space, a period for you to work at your own pace, and time to realise profound new insights, deep discoveries, and sometimes, the blindingly obvious. Imagine having a makeover that reveals the true you to yourself and the wider world, where you create your very own ‘Purpos Manifesto’ to articulate your inner drive, to make what you believe, do, and think truly impactful.

The groundbreaking concept of ‘Purpos’ enables you to overcome these challenges. This isn’t just another buzzword – it’s a new dimension in social interaction that goes beyond traditional influence and persuasion. Building on Aristotle’s principles of Ethos, Logos, and Pathos, it takes it a step further by exploring how ‘Purpos’ serves as your core changemaking story and narrative that fuels your inner confidence and drives you to make a difference. Your ‘Purpos Manifesto’ goes beyond telling a chronology of your life by serving as a potent mirror for self-reflection as well as a portrait that allows others to understand admire and support your journey.

However, you need to overcome the ‘Changemakers’ story paradox’, where you are both the best expert to tell your authentic story – and the worst.

You are the best person to tell your authentic story—no one knows you better. Yet you are the worst because you are too close, too intertwined with the subject matter to be effectively dispassionate or sagacious about what other people see in you, and too compromised by doubt or vanity.

Using guidance and tools that enable you to unlock and unpick the different elements that create your character – your values, persona, beliefs, social instincts, and purposes – provides a way to detach your own emotional baggage, to create your runway of identifying your authentic, personal changemaking stories to guide and inform how you then connect with other people’s narratives.

For some, the resulting ‘Purpos Manifesto’ remains a very personal, private document. For others they may gladly share, put on their CV tell the world about yourself, to tell everybody ‘This is who I am!’.

In this program, you’ll be guided through three steps to create your ‘Purpos Manifesto’—a personal credo that captures your values and vision.

Step one: Ethos – Defining your character

Drawing from Aristotle’s concept of Ethos, this step helps you identify the core of who you are: your values, persona, beliefs, and purposes – the ingrediants of the cocktail of your character.

    Step two: Rediscovering your stories

This step encourages you to explore meaningful life experiences that reveal the real you. Often, the stories that best reflect our authenticity are tucked away outside our professional lives, yet they hold immense power. My own Manifesto for example, shares what I feel has been my greatest achievement. When just nine years old I taught my younger kid brother, who’s profoundly autistic, cannot speak, had severe behavioural problems, how to ride a bike. I look back and reflect ‘How did I do that?’ I’m certainly extraordinarily proud, but it was only through the prompts of the ‘Purpos’ program that really brought home to me the significance of its authenticity and inspiration. Using these authentic realisations to inform your personal script provides you with a significant resource to rekindle, re-energise your tenacity going forward, or to refocus your thoughts.

    Step three: Purpose vs. purposefulness

This step clarifies the distinction between purpose—the goals you set for yourself—and purposefulness, which is how you contribute to the world around you. Imagine a pearl necklace: the pearls represent individual stories, while the string connecting them forms a narrative that bridges you with a larger purpose. Purposefulness is what links you to others on economic, political, or emotional levels, making your impact broader and more meaningful.

We define ’Purpos’ as your changemaking narrative that bridges your purpose to a larger context. Aristotle’s Ethos (character), Logos (logic), and Pathos (emotion) create a powerful story, but it’s the narrative—the connection with others—that enables true influence.

While Aristotle’s ideas on influence are often thought of as a triangle of ethos, logos, and pathos, ’Purpos’ adds a fourth dimension, a concept akin to Kairos—the right timing and context. This dimension emphasises connecting to the shared purposefulness of others, a kind of conceptual ‘Velcro’ that bonds you with the world.

Completing this process empowers you to articulate your ‘Purpos Manifesto’—a dynamic tool, evolving as you do. It serves as a reference on challenging days, reigniting your drive, and evolving as your insights and experiences grow. Whether it’s a private guide or a public affirmation, this Manifesto becomes a living, breathing credo of your unique journey.

One of the early pioneers of mind mapping, Tony Buzan, coined the term Goethendipity, inspired by Goethe’s words, “Boldness has genius, magic, and power in it.” Creating and living your ‘Purpos Manifesto’ is like creating your own Goethendipity—a magnet for new opportunities, inviting the power of intentional action to open doors you hadn’t yet imagined.

‘Purpos’ is central to your life not just as a map but also as an energy source, a rocket fuel that gets you going, keeps you going when it starts to get tough, and picks you up when you’re down. It’s also one of the best tools for time management. In a time and bandwidth poor era your essential task is to prioritise in how you respond to whatever the world throws at you. ‘Purpos’ provides an instant guide to when to say ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to things and what to prioritise

Whether you’re looking for a Sat Nav for your soul, your life, career, next year or next project, equipping yourself with ‘Purpos’ can turbo charge your future journey. Use this time of year to seize this valuable opportunity. Give yourself a gift of realising your potential and precious time. Spaces are limited so check in for your ‘Purpos’ journey now.
