Centre for Strategic Communication Excellence Announces Exclusive Partnership with Global Communication Certification Council

CSCE Managing Partner Sia Papageorgiou, FRSA, FCSCE, SCMP, today announced that the Centre for Strategic Communication Excellence (CSCE) has signed an agreement to provide comprehensive training for the Global Communication Certification Council’s (GCCC) certification programs.
Sia is a long-time, ardent support of the certification program, and previously served as GCCC Chair in 2021. She has been SCMP certified since 2018.

“I believe every communication professional should be certified,” said Sia. “It’s a singular designation that validates your years of learning and experience, and tells employers and clients that you have achieved a global standard.”

In announcing the alliance, the two organisations have joined to advocate for a universal standard for strategic communication excellence and to support candidates on their certification journey.

The GCCC has joined forces with CSCE to offer unparalleled exam preparation resources for communication professionals seeking to demonstrate their competency and advance their careers. GCCC is known for its certifications, Communication Management Professional (CMP) and Strategic Communication Management Professional (SCMP). The certifications are ANAB accredited under ISO/IEC 17024, which sets the standard for personnel certifications.

The GCCC and its certification programs were founded by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) in 2014, with this year marking ten years of impact in recognising excellence in the communication profession.

The official study guide, “Mastering Strategic Communication: A GCCC Study Guide,” is also now available. Written by CSCE managing partner and past chair of the GCCC, Sia Papageorgiou, FRSA, FCSCE, SCMP, this guide is an essential resource for candidates preparing for the CMP and SCMP certification exams, providing in-depth insights into strategic communication practices and ethics.
