Course Description:
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping the way communication professionals lead strategy, engage with stakeholders, and produce content. This course equips professionals with the tools, insight, and ethical frameworks needed to use AI confidently and responsibly.
Participants will explore practical applications of AI, align their work with responsible principles, and identify their leadership role in an AI-augmented communication environment. The course combines tools, frameworks, and applied strategy to equip communication professionals to serve as strategic advisors in the age of AI.

Assessment:
Project-Based Assessment: AI-Enabled Communication Strategy
To earn the Certified AI Communication Professional (CAICP), participants must complete one of the following three project options to demonstrate their ability to strategically and responsibly integrate AI in communication.
Option 1: Communication Strategy with AI Tools
Define a business need
Apply AI tools for content, insight or engagement
Develop a communication strategy aligned with business goals
Ensure ethical AI use
Measure AI impact
Option 2: Apply the CSCE Responsible AI Framework
Choose a communication use case
Assess alignment with CSCE’s responsible AI principles
Recommend improvements
Produce a responsible AI practice report
Option 3: Design a Communication AI Agent
Define the agent's purpose and use
Map its capabilities
Build or storyboard the agent
Ensure responsible design and oversight
Final Submission Includes:
Short written report (3–5 pages)
Recorded presentation (5–7 minutes)

Adrian Cropley OAM, FRSA, FCSCE, IABC Fellow, SCMP, GCSCE
Adrian is a certified strategic communication management professional, executive coach and co-founder of the Centre for Strategic Communication Excellence (CSCE). He is a past global chair of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and is widely recognised as one of the world’s foremost experts in strategic communication. With a career spanning over 30 years, Adrian has worked with clients worldwide on major change communication initiatives, internal communication reviews and strategies, and professional development programs and has coached executives in some of the world's leading organisations in developing them as effective leaders through communication skills.
